You don’t eat or drink anything else,just orange juice,lemon juice and water.The problem is that i’m 16 and my mother and friends say this could ruin my stomach because both juices contain acids.Will it be that harmful if I only did that for one day?Please answer only if you know.Thank u!
i’ve been on a calorie counter diet for 3-4 months and I’ve lost 15,4 lbs.I exercise 2-3 times per week for an hour and a half.i don’t want to lose more weight with this diet,I just want to detox my body.

Yes, it would be harmful. Listen to your mother.

Why not just try eating right and exercising? Stop looking for an easy way out of whatever you’re trying to do…If you want to detoxify your body, then just eat fruits and veggies for the day with just water. It sounds a lot healthier.

Lemon has no effect on weight loss – it just gives the water a better taste. What you are really doing is partially filling your stomach with water, which displaces food that you are about to eat. You feel full sooner into the meal, cutting back on your consumption of calories, fat and food in general.

Has anyone been on the 14 day Lemon detox- Full Body Cleanse Diet ( The one which you do not eat any food ). Did it work for you, and did you lose much weight ?

I did it and it worked great. It should not be looked at as a weight loss program but rather getting the toxins out of your body. You should feel better by the end. Also check out some documentaries about animal foods and how they lead to most of the toxins and diseases in your body. It will bnlow your mind! It was a little hard at time to stay disciplined with the Lemon Cleanse so you need to be in tune with your body. 14 Days sounds a little long to me, I’m not sure you need to do it for that long to detox properly. Check out the site Detoxandcleansingdiets.com they basically breakdown all the pros and cons of the varioous detox and cleansing diets and how to do them effectively. That was where I started when I wanted to learn about detoxing!

for the lemon detox drink do i have to use grade b or can i use regular pancake syrup?i am only useing the drnk not the skipping meals and everything

I don’t know how effective the lemon cleanse is; but the maple syrup is used to provide you with certain nutrients while you give your intestines a rest from solid food.

Pancake syrup is not maple syrup. It is sugar-water with artificial maple flavoring. That’s not good for your body at any time.

If you’re going to try a detox program, stick to the plan. Don’t pick and choose which parts you want to follow, or you are only setting yourself up for certain failure. And make sure you have a nutritionally-oriented doctor advising you, or, at the very least, someone with experience at detoxing, who can assist you. Detoxes can be rough, depending on how toxic your bowels are.

It’s all very questionable, you know. Make sure you can find REAL scientific studies to show if “detoxing” actually does anything. Any change in life style will have effects, don ‘t forget.

What ever you do, don’t waste your money on those stupid pads you put on the bottom of your feet that turn dark as proof of their effectiveness. It’s all hokum’.

i want to detox for a few days. i’ve done the cabbage soup diet and the master cleanse(lemon diet) and both worked okay….but i’d like to try a different one. i know juice zone makes a detox drink containing Parsley, Celery, Spinach and carrots. i was going to try it out, but i’m not sure what to do in addition to having the drink…any one have any suggestions?

I do this for detox and it works great.

breakfast: eggs bacon and sausage
lunch- hotdog, brat, and beef jerky
dinner- Tbone

try this and you will cleanse your system better than any rabbit food can do.

I have been feeling run down and just overall fatigued. My body feels weak, I have been breaking out in zits (mostly boils) and have never experienced anything like it. I feel like it’s all being caused by an increase in toxins and want to try a detox diet. I had a friend who tried the master cleanse diet (lemon juice, cayenne pepper, syrup) and lost a few pounds but I never really asked how she felt. I’m not concerned about weight loss, I’m below pre-preggo weight from my 1 year old daughter. I’m mainly concerned with finding a cleanse that is inexpensive, not dangerous (as in the diet lasts 10 days or less), and that actually produces results. Any input on your experiences is greatly appreciated.

No, a thousand times, no.

First, you don’t have “toxins” floating around. Barring disease and illness affecting organs involved in elimination, your body effectively eliminates it. Even if you did have “toxins” you couldn’t remove it with a detox/cleansing diet.

These scams have no basis in science. Eat healthily, ensure you are getting adequate sleep and if you have any real medical concerns, see your doctor.

I’d like to do the master cleanse soon but the thought of having to flush down sea salt makes me sick already. Does anyone have any experience whether the detox still works if I only drink laxative tea but no sea salt?

The cleanse will work fine if you avoid the salt water flush and use a laxative tea instead. Drink the tea at night before you go to sleep. Wishing you health!
