Question by kansas: I need a STRICT detox diet plan for the next two weeks. help?!?
I was wondering if there were any health experts here? If you could leave your email for me please. Or if you do not feel comfortable doing that you can just leave a helpful tip maybe?
I am trying to completely clense my whole system. For the next to weeks I want to be in complete detox process. Meaning…. starting the morning off with hot lemon juice…. honey.. etc.. Basically, I am just trying to find a plan that consists mainly of juices or raw foods or vegies etc.. if you understand what DETOX means.. then you get what im shootin’ for here,

Well, I followed the advice of a guy at the gym for my detox and it worked great. I put 3 parts veggies to 1 part fruit and juiced them. I drank that for breakfast lunch and dinner as well as 2 snacks. I did not eat any solid food. And I had approximately 2 glasses of juice per serving for meals and 1 cup for snacks. Also water is fine. If you can do this, you will lose 30 lbs in a month if you have it to lose. I swear its great.

Detox is a term used for withdrawal from drug addiction- there is no such thing as a Detox Diet that will cleanse the body- at least none that make any sense and are supported by reputable nutritionists or researchers.
What you need to do is just start a healthy, primarily plant based diet and eliminate as many liquid calories as possible- that means not much other than plain water and tea.
You also need healthy sources of protein- beans, nuts, fish, eggs, and low fat dairy would be great choices.
Stop eating high fat, low fiber foods so common in our diet. No need to go overboard.
